It is officially summer and almost even more so with the arrival of July 4th soon in the US. (Aka the original ‘Independence Day’! Isn’t it ironic!?) Whether near the sea, in the countryside or tackling the heat of the pavement in the concrete jungle, you cannot go wrong with a beautiful pair of red sandals day to night.
There’s something about red shoes exuding an aura that says you aren’t afraid to be noticed in a subtle way without having to speak.
These Chanel gostskin suede Sandals are absolutely divine and were at on SALE at ‘Barneys Chelsea’. A block heel with metallic lining in gold, adds a signature touch. A true classic and the ultimate summer suede shoe for day to night. Some things are surely best in person. You can take my word.
The current state of the world from a distance can remind us that there is so much uncertainty that is out of our own control. We can keep trying to control our own willpower and state of mental stamina however we so choose. Of course, back in the 1983 while playing the guitar, depicting images of what many of us would see as a glimpse into the not so glamorous life of those seeking to make their way in the United States or merely in their own current reality, he sang,
“Let’s dance. Put on your red shoes and dance the blues.”
