Remember that saying on Sex and the City when ‘Carrie’ says…”If you are a nice person and you work hard, you get to go shopping at Barneys!” That may sound frivolous and one of those lines that we find ourselves laughing about BUT anyone that ventures into Barneys on Madison Ave can appreciate the eclectic mix of luxury brands.  Shoes are works of art. They are meant to be on display and appreciated and at Barneys they are!

Alright.. I will not delve too far into all those emotions today. No ‘soul confessions‘!

You might not be ready to waltz into Barneys and grab a pair of timeless pointy toe Manolo pumps or Aquazurra snakeskin sandals BUT Barneys Warehouse Sale on the other hand is amazing and forgiving on the wallet!  If you are looking for some classic or more eccentric items, you will very likely find something you love and treat yourself with less of that guilt factor! Last year I found the soft leather tote I carry just about everywhere for a fraction of the price. (All the pieces I found above are under $100 with the additional sale)

While not enjoying the summer sun, and planning an upcoming escape, I was deciding which pieces would be amazing now and into the fall.  Sunglasses in deep transparent red hues are an obsession. Gold embellished gladiator sandals that are perfect all summer long and great for walking. Light blue suede pumps are chic for a pop of color wearing a white dress or jeans.  Summer suede is perfectly acceptable! This excitement is meant to be shared!
