Yes.. Its Monday BUT let’s start this week off by embracing winter and that means lust worthy boots! Royally blue may be an obsession and winter suede makes my temperature rise even more than my old wood burning stove!
Christmas is not that far away, it is below freezing and so I felt it was suiting to share a wishlist item that has caught my eye not one but twice this fall. Surely not the every day black leather boot. These vibrant royally blue suede boots by Ports 1961 are made for walking in that crisp cold air when its not snowing but you can see your breathe and are wearing a warm fuzzy black hat. Bold while luxuriously elegant, these are a true statement boot to be cherished. The exterior platform adds a cushion and suede is always more more malleable to the contour of your legs.
I was delighted to have taken this photo at the Ports 1961 NY flagship store in Meatpacking during an after party two weeks ago. I was never quite familiar with Ports small selection of boots for Fall but I adore this boot. It is mean to be cared for and protected. Also, to be honest, you cannot seem to find them in many other locations and unless you walked into the NY location, you might not see them elsewhere. Lucky to be in NY of course!
Who wants to put these on their Christmas list now? I had to share the love….
Well let’s just remember, winter is not so bad when there is reason to wear any pair of BOOTS you love and be playful with scarfs and fabulous hats! Enjoy it.
