These are my Via Spiga Flat Slouch boots. I got these last year after Christmas because I realized it was just not healthy for my foot to wear my lovely but narrow leather pointed toe knee high boots every day. Alternating from flat to heels every few days is a swell idea. At first I wasn’t so crazy about them but I have grown to love them for their fun look and comfort as well as the many compliments I have gotten wearing them. Whether with jeans on the weekend, a skirt or a sweater dress these have proved to be a versatile boot with style.  (Thanks to my co-worker Ella for being a great photagrapher during our lunchtime excursion to Columbus Cirlce!)

Here is a Via Spiga, the Parley slouch boot with a similar look but in black suede with a moderate 3 1/2 ” heel and hidden platform.  The scrunched leather is wider than the average boot and leaves more room to breathe from morning to night on these long winter days.  I found these at Piperlime.com.
